- Juliet then proceeds with the plan. She pretended to be dead, but she is just asleep.
- When a simple plan turns out into a dramatic irony because Romeo did not receive any information about the plan. Romeo thought that Juliet has died. He then planned to go to the tomb, and brought poison to kill himself. When he arrives upon the tomb, he sees Paris mourning the death of Juliet. He proceeds to kill Paris, he enters the tomb and went near Juliet's side, and drank the poison.
- The moment Juliet opens her eyes, she sees the dead Romeo lying on the floor. She quickly grabs the dagger from his belt and kills herself. Friar Lawrence then confesses everything to both families. In the end, the love of these two ended the longstanding feud between their families as they realize that all the lives lost was because of their rivalry.
- Through intermediates, Friar Lawrence and Juliet's nurse, Romeo and Juliet marries in secrecy.
- A duel ensues as Tybalt, a Capulet, goes in search for Montagues who crashed the party. Romeo's bestfriend, Mercutio is killed, causing Romeo to slay Tybalt. Before, a warning was posed by the Prince of Verona that if one more disturbance is made by the quarrelers, those involved would be put to death. Romeo was only exiled as Mercutio is the Prince's kinsman.
- The devastated Juliet was arranged by her father to marry Count Paris in two days. Friar Lawrence convinces Juliet to consume a sleeping potion to appear that she is dead. The Friar devised the plan, and promises to send out the word to Romeo.
