- This is Ponyboy Curtis. He lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the year 1960 he lives with his brothers Soda and Darry. He lives on the east side because he doesn't have much money. The people who live on the east side are called Greasers. The people who live on the west are called Socs
- CLIMAX
- The main conflict in the book is between the Socs and the Greasers, they are complete opposites with little in common. The Socs live on the west side and are rich. The Greasers live on the east side and are poor. Some of the Socs are Cherry, bob, and Randy
- FALLING ACTION
- A few rising actions. Darry got mad at Ponyboy causing him to slap him. Ponyboy and Johnny go to the park and sit under the sky. A few Socs come and start to drown Pony and Johnny kills bob, one of the Socs, with a switchblade
- RESOLUTION
- Johnny and Pony had to go to an abandon curch to keep safe so the police wouldn't find them. They went down to a shop with Dally and school children were on a field trip to the curch. There was a fire in the curch and Jhonny and Pony saved the children who were in the fire. It caused Johnny fatal inguries and he died
- Out of spite of the situation. Dally is so hearbroken from Johnny dying he sets a police up and ends up killing him.
- The resolution of the book is that Pony got over is medical and emotinal problems. And Dally got kinder twoards him and the brothers live a great life
