- Once upon a time, there was a handsome man. His name was Batara Guru Sahala. He liked fishing.
- One day, he caught a fish. He was surprised to find out that the fish could talk. The fish begged him to set it free. Batara Guru could not bare it. He made the fish free.
- Please! I begged you to set me free.
- I promise, I would never tell anybody about it.
- As soon as it was free, the fish changed into a very beautiful woman. She attracted Batara Guru so much. Batara Guru made a promise.They were married happily. They had two daughters.
- I think I'm inlove with you
- We can get married but you have to keep the secret that I'm a fish
- One day Batara Guru got very angry with his daughters. He would not control his mad.
- You two are so hard headed! Both of you are like your fish woman mother!
- The daugthers got shock from what their father told them. And told their mother about it. The mother was very annoyed and she is shouting angrily.
- Mother, Father was so angry and he told us that you are fish-woman. Is that true?
- Yes that's true and he promised me that he won't tell anybody about it, but he broke his promise!!
- Then the earth began to shake. Volcanoes started to erupt. The earth formed a big hole. People believed that the big hole became a lake. Then the lake is known as TOBA LAKE.
