- Asoka was born the 3rd Emperor/Ruler of Gupta. He was a very good emperor other than the fact he was blood thirsty, and he killed lots of people.
- The Turning Point
- One battle against Kalinga, it was a very bad,bloody and disastrous battle. There was over 100,000 soldiers lost.
- Asoka's Hospital
- Asoka looked back at the war and was upset and astonished about all the damage he had just done, and it was hard to believe he had killed more than 100,000 soldiers. At this point Asoka realized what he had done and he knew he had to do something about it.

- At this point Asoka knew he had to change and make a new life and to leave his past behind him. So he adopted Buddhism, Asoka then started giving up things like eating meat, and using animals for battle. He even started to make wells for his people and animals.

- Asoka even built a hospital, and it was made to serve "anyone" he would treat people with any social class, and religion and any culture or skin color. He even built a advanced irrigation system to improve trading and farming.

- Asoka Died at the age of 72. He left India in good shape. 50 years later after his death India started fighting again. Asoka had turned his life around for the better.
