  • First meeting with Management
  • What if we lost our customers because of that protest? We are only still recovering from the Pandemic Lockdown
  • Hmm...It doesn't seem like we're going to make much progress during this meeting.
  • And I too had to suffer through pay-cuts on my salary, not just the employees
  • Second meeting with Management
  • I don't want any of them to leave, they're good employees. And it could close the doors of the restaurant if they all leave.
  • Mr. Ali your employees enjoy working here and all agree you are a good manager, however because of these cuts to their salaries they don't know how much longer they can work here.
  • Second meeting with Management
  • Alright, I do understand your point and I do realize I haven't dealt with the grievances of my employees in the right way.
  • That could work yes. We will all appreciate that.
  • I don't want to lose any of them so, I will revise the finances again to make improvements to their salaries.
  • As promised at the protest, Mr. Ali had the meeting with Mr. Adams and Mr. Daniels to discuss the grievances of the employees. However the meeting had not gone the way they wanted as Mr. Ali complained about the protests and how they may have scared off their customers. Mr. Ali also pointed out that he also had pay-cuts to his salary. Mr. Adams realises they will not accomplish their goals at this meeting and will have to set another.
  • Final meeting with Management
  • All the other employees have given their approval and are happy with your solution.
  • I hope we can all move forward from this moment and if problems arise in the future I'll be sure to listen to my employees.
  • The three men met again with everyone being calmer than before. Mr. Adams made Mr. Ali see how much his employees enjoy working at the restaurant, the pay is affecting them badly as they are struggling to provide their families. Some employees are considering resigning to find work for better pay. Mr. Ali worries as he does like his employees and would not want to see them leave, it will also be bad for the restaurant if everyone left.
  • Check- In with the Trade union Organisors
  • Afternoon, Everything is going well Thank you Both for your help and making the process easier. The other employees and I really appreciate it.
  • Good Afternoon Mr. Daniels. thank you for meeting with us. We just wanted to check in with you and your employees. Is everything still good with Mr. Ali?
  • Mr. Ali apologizes for not taking his employee's grievances seriously the first time and promises to sort the problems out. Mr. Daniels agrees and says they appreciate it. They will then meet again with Mr. Ali and his new proposals of their salaries. Mr. Daniels will then discuss it with the other employees and they will progress from there.
  • Check- In with the Trade union Organisors
  • Mr. Ali, Mr. Adams and Mr. Daniels came to a final conclusion on the salaries of the employees. Mr. Adams then discussed it with the other employees and they too agreed to the new proposition of the salaries.
  • Thank you for listening to us Mr. Ali.
  • A few months have passed since the grievances of the employees were resolved and the trade union organizers arranged a meeting with Mr. Daniels to ensure everything is till fine at work. Mr. Daniels ensures them everything is still good at work and thanks them for their help.
