- Muhammad (messenger of god) was a very respectable man. He was a very religious person and prayed every day in a small cave while facing mecca. One day, an angel came to him and chose him to be the messenger of god. So, his word, spread over all of mecca and other cities. After he died, civillians wanted to declare the next messenger of god, and so they failed.

- Fasting was and still is a popular way to show faith in god. You accomplish fasting by not eating food until after sunset. The reason religious people do this action because it helps one become more mindful of god and his blessings, is a means of seeking forgiveness of sins, and is a reminder of the difficulty of those who do not have food, water, or shelter. And this is great because muslims actually help the homeless to.
