- The story was about when Dhal went to the candy store all the time but there was a problem. The problem was a mean old lady never smiles and watches them and sees if they will steal her candy without paying for them. According to the text on paragraph 14 it says it didn’t stop any of us except Thwaites from buying Licorice Bootlaces.

- One day the kids found a lose floor board and lifted it up with a pocket knife and they wanted to throw it way because it smelled but Dhal wanted ton prank Mrs Pratchett. So they went to the candy store Dhals friends distracted Mrs Pratchett so Dhal could put in the mouse. On paragraph 6 it says Why don’t we’, I said, ‘slip it into one of Mrs Pratchett’s jars of sweets? Then when she puts her dirty hand in to grab a handful, she’ll grab a stinky dead mouse instead.’
