- Thank you Mr. Smith. Today I will be doing a Pelvis ultrasound to have a look at your prostate. Please note that this procedure is non invasive and painless. I will be applying a small amount of gel to your lower abdomen that will be cold. I will then apply the probe to your lower abdomen to obtain the pictures. So before I begin is there any questions you might have or anything you need clarity on? You are welcome to ask questions during the procedure and also have someone in the room with you
- Before I proceed I am going to move you from this hospital bed to this bed. Tell me you able to walk or stand or would you need me to assist you? I am going to take you to the procedure room where you need to you lie on your back on the bed and to lift the gown to expose your abdomen for me.
