- The atrioventricular valves are located between the atria & ventricles, while the tricuspid valve allows blood flow from R atrium into R ventricle.the bicuspid (mitral) valve allows blood flow from the L atrium into L ventricle The pulmonary valve which is found at the opening of the pulmonary artery; allows blood to travel from R ventricle into the pulmonary artery and into lungsThe aortic valve allows blood flow to pass from the L ventricle into the aorta, but not backwards

- First we are going to learn about the function of the heart.The heart is the pump that circulates blood to all parts of the body.The Arteries,veins, and capillaries take blood from the heart to the cells & return blood from the cells back to the heart.Blood carries oxygen to cells & carries waste products away. The lymph system returns excess fluid from the tissues to circulation

- Pericarditis is inflammation of the outer membrane covering the hear called the pericardium which is where you get the peri from myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle symptoms include chest pain,fever,diffuculty breathing,andd rapid pulse.These are symptoms of both peri and myocarditis.
