- This is so unfair! This violates my right to be secure in my home.
- I'm going to search your house for smuggled goods. You can not say no because I have a writs of assistance.

- And they just searched my house and seized goods from me and they don't have to go to court! This violates our rights as English citizens.
- This is insanity, the British think this will fool us. This act lowered the tax on sugar and molasses and other goods. They're tying to make us keep buying there own goods and not others.

- I know, this isn'tfair for two reasons, for reason 1, i's taxing us directly, and reason 2, it's taxing us without our consent!
- This is outrageous, I just went to go in their and try to buy paper and there's a tax on it!

- Really! Let's boycott this! This lets them bypass selling the tea to us merchants and straight to shopkeepers, and it has a tax too!
- Did you hear? The British now have monopoly on the trade for tea in America! This is too much!

- Boston Tea Party
- This is our revenge! We shall not let the tea be unloaded!
- Still, no one spoke about challenging the Britishrule, since most of them thought of themselves as British citizens

- Coercive Acts
- Did you hear? The British passed the Coercive Act that did many bad things. It closed the Boston Harbor until we repay for the tea dump, they forced us to house soldiers, and they banned town meetings!
- We should repeal this,it violates our rights as as citizens by first, no quartering of troops in private homes, and no standing army in peacetime!
