Temple priests were in charge of many temples throughout Egypt and Other priests handled more common concerns and requests. They gave advice and performed healings. Women were allowed tobe priestesses in Egypt.
- Artisans are highly skilled people like carpenters, metalworkers, painters sculptures, and stone carvers. Artisans are the second layer of the social pyramid so they are highly skilled people just with a little social status.
- Peasants were the largest social class. They were at the bottom of the social pyramid. Peasants worked the land so Egypt could have a steady food supply. When they weren't farming, they worked onthe pharaoh's building projects.
