- The Boston Tea Party was in response to the Tea Act. Some of the Sons of Liberty dressed up as Mohawks to disguise themselves and protest the Tea act, where their tea was taxed, and they could only buy from the East India Company.

- The Intolerable acts were acts passed by the British to punish the colonies for the Boston Tea Party. These included the closing of the Boston Harbor, the British exerting more control over the colonies government, and the Quartering Act.
- Boston Harbor is closed until you repay all the tea you spilled!
- Also to issue currency! We need to boycott British goods too!
- We need to establish a navy and army against the british!
- The first Continental Congress got together to discuss what to do about the acts the British were passing. They established an army, anming George Washington the head of it, and hid weapons around the Colonies. THey also established a post office, and issued currency.
- We should start posts offices!
