- the story setting is in Venice, Italy. it begins in the streets of Venice as the are at the caravel celebration. the main character consist of Montresor and Fortunato.

- Montresor had wanted to get revenge on Fortunato so he was planning what to do. so he thought of what to do so here came up with a plan....

- he was planning to get him in the basement and he told Forunato that he was looking for wine. Fortunato was partly drunk so was not understanding what he was doing.
- theme
- they were in the basement and their was a door that was perfect to fit in. Fortunato was looking for the wine so Montresor ask him to hand him the wine but,.....
- yes i finally did it!!
- and he put a chain on his hand. he then got a perfect rock to fit the hole to close the room so he can not get found. he then came back and plastered the wall to look like it did before the can down.
- do not trust everyone you see they can turn on you when the can and some people can take over you in a mindset of not know what is going on.
