The capture and deportation of fort Beausejour

The British and the French had a trade deal where the British would give back the land they took in Canada in exchange for some land the French owned in India. This angered a fair amount of British solders as they just took Louisburg and had to give it back.

General Lawrence lead the attack of fort Beausejour and found thousands of Acadians fighting for the French. Even after they insisted that they were forced to help, General Lawrence still had them deported to the 13 colonies.

The English had a chance to take Louisburg and took it, they learned from the last time they took it and completely destroyed the fort as to prevent the French from using it in the future.

Rollo was in charge of the deportation of the Acadians in Ile St-John and was assumed to be a kind and sympathetic man allowing the families to stay together as they were deported to France.
There was estimated to have around 5000 Acadians living on Ile St-John before Rollo showed, 3500 of the people were deported, 2/3 died on the crossing. almost all of the Acadians that made it to France came back after the next 10 years.
