- There were food shortages and the crops were dying from rain, harsh heat, and colder temperatures. France ran out of money because of the American revolution. Government not responding or helping with the food shortages. French society is breaking down because of the shortage. people getting angry.

- The king never did respond to the people. Instead, he partied a lot . After the American revolution France was really broke and never got the money back from America. Society was starting to break down and all the while the king and his nobles partied it up.
- After the American Revolution France is broke. Because of this people had no food and the king didn't help the people and only partied it up. The king also needed money to keep up his expensive lifestyle he taxed the people that had no money to give. he could have taxed the rich but ne he taxed the already poor. This got people even angrier and it is no surprise that rioting started.
- This is what happens after the people got really fed up with everything. The people had nothing left to give and they wanted something from the king. so they Rioted and rioted all the way to Versailles and took the king back to Paris. With rioting France would have even less economy than before as no one is working
