- IIn this scene from the story "Seventh Grade," the main character Victor and his friend Micheal are scowling at the girls walking by. They think that is cool but I'm sure all the girls wonder why he is making that stupid face. The main idea of this scene is friendship. Even though the boys are doing something funny and stupid (in my opinion) they are still showing friendship. A scene from my own school experience is when my friend and I made our own inside joke, and we started laughing really hard in the classroom. When other classmates were walking inside they were probably wondering why we were laughing so hard. This ties into the big idea of friendship because in both scenes we and they were showing companionship and they/we were doing something funny together!
