- Moses was the son of hebrew slave . At the time all Isrealite baby boys were condemed to death.  To escape death Moses' mother sent him in a basket down the nile river where he was found by the pharoah's daughter
- When Moses grew up his personal encounters with god led him to realize his mission which was to free his people from slavery.
- After a mighty struggle with the egyption pharaoh  Moses eventually did lead the isrealites in an escape out of egypt.
- No one willl ever forget the story of how God saved them by parting the waters of the sea so they can cross only to close the water over the egyptian chariots when they tried to cross.
- The slaves were waiting direction from moses about what to do. In an encounter with Moses and Yahweh God sealed the relationship with the people with a promis Moses retured to the peole  and they agreed to do whatever God asked. Yahweh presented Moses with the Ten Commandments which descrided the Irealites end of bargin.
