Narrator: So tell us a bit about yourself Lukas: My name is _______ and I am a climate activist Narrator asks him more questions as scenes from different protests and strikes play
After Lukas answers, curious, calm music starts playing
Narrator: Do you have any trouble with your beliefs? Lukas: Yes actually. I wear t-shirts with slogans that people shout at me for on the street, and the abuse during protests is just terrible, I mean I always arrive home from protests with bruises and cuts all over me, once someone even broke my arm and all the fingers in my hand by kicking me
Tense music begins, showing people getting beaten on the street
Narrator: And if you don't mind me asking, what is the most extreme protest you've ever been to.Lukas: Well... It was 2019, September if I remember, and I had flown out to Honduras for this, where we were protesting a private mining company using a freshwater lake, and eventually armed forces came in and detained all of us, but it was one of the scariest moments of my life. Thankfully, I got off due to my citizenship of Australia, but the others from that strike are still in jail
The music stops and scenes are shown from the same strike in Honduras.
