- What happens in this book is the mom and her son moves to Chicago, A little girl robs the boy, The boy tracked down the girl and realizes she is really poor and she steals to care for the little boy she found. So the boy feels bad and then, he realizes the tree house was on fire that was what they lived in it.

- Some day we wont have to steal to have money.
- Today they are moving to Chicago in the city because the dad died and Mom started a new relationship in Chicago.

- In this scene the stepdad and the mom are walking home, suddenly The son gets robbed by a little girl
- Where is my parents?
- In this scene the kid tracks down the girl who robbed him and sees her living with a little boy and feels bad because she only robbed him for money to eat, suddenly there starts to be fires everywhere
- we gotta run the tree house is on fire! waaa
- GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! ITS ON FIRE!
- IN this scene the tree house is falling down and the boy is climbing down, but the girl jumps out of the window and the boy catches her. Suddenly he realizes hes gotta find his family.

- In this scene the boy finds his parents and they go to a place away from the fire. I really enjoyed reading this book because there was a lot of action and it is realistic. The moral of the story is dont be so quick to judge people. the might have a reason for what they did
