- the stamp act was a way for the british to get more money from their 7 year war with france. the colinist poeple were not happy with britan because the colinist did not have much money to begin with.

- the townshed act was the british Parliment taxing essential goods at an unreasonable price to help pay for the british people in the old world and to enfore this they sent soliders to enforce these polices

- the tea act was the british taxing the tea to help pay for the east india company that processed the tea that was going under. The colonists were furios by this taxing so they dumped thousands of dollars of tea in the boston bay .

- the british parliment passed laws that were supposed to punnish the Americans for their actions at the boston tea party
