- "Hello my friend!"
- Eustace breaks free from his camp to go get a rest. But, then he falls into a valley. He then goes on to find a cave and gets a rest there.
- "I won't!""Now die serpent!"
- Eustace goes on to realize that there was another dragon in the cave, But either the gold was enchanted or the dragon's passing had an effect upon him. Which turned him into a dragon.
- Eustace feels an itching sensation so he starts to scratch his skin off. He starts peeling a second layer. Then a third layer. Aslan asks," would you like any help?" After Aslan's help Eustace finally feels a whole lot better. He is now helping all of the crew with their jobs. Even his bravery has increased.
- Eustace's bravery increases by him fending off the dragon. As a result he accidentally breaks Caspian's second best sword
- Eustace don't break Caspian's sword.
- Eustace also helps on the deck and other places. He is grateful for his food, and his jobs, and much more. Lastly he is actually using his brain for once and found out that there is an enchanted golden lake.
- Everyone thought that he was fooling around. So, they put a spear into the lake and it turned into real solid gold. They also saw a man in the lake, he must have gone for a swim they thought.
