- My name is Abheest Abbas, I am a 13 year-old tennager from Lebanon, I live in a Maronite Catholic community in the city of Jounieh, and let’s say I am not that lucky. Unlike many of my classmates, my family is formed by a long line of people who are extremely self centered, in other words they are extremely selfish regardless of what the consequences are. My father, like his father before him, has lost everything. Betted everything he had on selfish ambition for money, borrowed from very bad people, and even worse, he pushed everyone away including my mom. As a matter of fact, the only person I have, well, used to have, was my best friend Aqeel Abadi who happens to be born on the same date I was. Our dynamic is pretty simple, he is the brains and I am the muscle.
