- I live in Mississauga, Ontario and went to University in the USA on a soccer scholarship! I studied teaching at a school called Indiana Tech, studying Physical Education and Kinesiology
- Hi all! My Name is Braden and I'm excited to learn more and work with you all through this course!
- A few of my hobbies and interests include, athletics, especially golf as I play all summer and all winter long! I also love to travel and have visited 35 countries and going to my 40th country this December. I also love watching movies with my family!
- My teachable is Physical Education and I am working to get my second teachable after transferring over my license to OCT!I also taught Science and PE in the U.K. for 4 years before moving back to Canada!
- One teaching method I have used is student recall. I would always start my science lessons with a variety of 3-5 questions about the previous lesson at the start of the next lesson. I would use this as a method to check for understanding of the students knowledge of the previous lesson, to see what the class really understood and what the class may need review on. As well, for the students to know what content they really understand and what content they need more work on in preparation for tests, quizzes and assignments.
- My strengths include, funny, caring, kindness, logical thinker, patience and adaptable. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and learning together!
