The other Wes Moore Chapter 5.

The reason why I picked the military event is that I think it taught Wes an important lesson. The first cell is about Wes not wanting to be there so his roommates drew him a map to a station that will help Wes escape the military camp. The second cell is about Wes following the directions on the map but they are the wrong directions and he gets caught by a sergeant. And finally, in the last cell, it's about Wes calling home because he gets caught in the middle of the woods and then the sergeant says that Wes needs to be on his best behavior after his phone call. objective summary for chapter 5- Wes's mother decides to send him to military school because he was missing school and he was involved with a smoke bomb incident at his school. Wes felt betrayed when his mom told him that he was going to military school. Wes went to Valley Forge Military Academy. Wes did not want to be there neither did his roommates so his roommates drew him a map to a station that leads him to an escape point from the military school. When Wes followed the map but he realized that he was just in the middle of nowhere and then he started to cry because he got lost. And a sergeant heard and they went over to him and asked him what is he doing out here at night and they told him to go directly to Colonel Batt. When he went to Colonel Batts room Colonel Batt let him call home to anyone and he said to tell them whatever he wanted to tell them and after the phone call was done he expected him to be on his best behavior. And that's what Wes did.
