- The summer of June 2018 was when I got the news that I would be moving from what I thought would be my forever home to a whole different city. I had known in advance we would be moving but I would have never thought I would be moving far from my family. Every night I kept thinking about what would happen and how things would be like or if they would change. I was honestly really sad to have to move but I never said anything because I just wanted to be happy for my parents..
- Finding home
- Nobody is going to like me
- I don't want to move either
- We spent the summer looking for a home, but we had no luck finding one in the Bay Area since they were all to small and expensive. My parents were indecisive about the houses in our city which made us start looking farther. I wasn't to excited about this but I had no other choice. So the weekend after we started to look in farther areas.
- Moving in
- Where am I supposed to start
- It was around October when we were officially moved in, and I had to start school. There was a really close school to our house, but it had a waiting list which was long and took a whole year for me to get in. In the meantime, I attended a different middle school which was farther than the one I was waiting to get into.. My first day of school was turning into a nightmare since I had to start late, and everyone pretty much had their same friend groups or had already made new friends on the first day of school.
- Finally happy
- Maybe moving wasn't so bad
- We had found a house in Tracy CA which I was not glad about. I knew this meant I also had to switch schools and start over again. But the worst part was the I was going to be the new kid starting middle school. I just kept thinking about what people were going to think instead of just focusing on myself during the car ride home.
- Don't worry not much is going to change and we still have each other
- I don't want to move
- People are going to think I'm weird
- After buying the house, we waited a couple months to start packing since it was getting renovated. After our house got fixed we started moving into our new rooms over the weekend. I had trouble fixing everything but luckily I had my dog for comfort.

- Finally I started to get used to everything and my new life which made me realize how glad I actually was to have moved. . I started to enjoy having moved it was fun and it let me have a fresh start and it started to make me more responsible.
