- There is 3 months before I turn 16 and can take my knowledge test. I've finished reading the Learn to Drive Smart book and have started taking the practice test as well as taking the road signs practice test and tried the Street Sense hazard perception training application to prepare.
- After memorising the Learn to Drive Smart book, and have scored 100% on my practice tests, I booked a knowledge test at an ICBC driver licensing office at 3:15 on May 30th! I will bring bring, accepted ID, A signed and witnessed parent/legal guardian consent form, and Fees for the knowledge test and your learner's licence.

- The test is answered through multiple-choice questions and I make sure to read the question thoroughly before answering. It is very similar to the practice test on the ICBC app. If I get stuck on a question there is a flag button to go back to the question

- I passed the knowledge test and begin driving with my dad in the passenger seat, who is above the age of 25 and has a class 5 license. We drive during the day with my L magnet visible on the back not including between Midnight and 5am. I make sure drive without alcohol or drugs in my system, no electronics and only 1 passenger.
- I get lots of on-road driving practice with a qualified supervisor and take a driver training course. I practice at different times of day, in different weather and road conditions, and in unfamiliar neighborhoods.
- After one year of driving with supervision and having stayed prohibition-free, I feel ready I book my class 7 road test and passed.
- My driving test is about 45 minutes. My driver examiner will be looking to see that I'm able to demonstrate different driving skills in a safe, smooth, and controlled manner. I make sure to be safe and follow their directions and tell myself it is okay to be nervous.
- I passed my road test and I start driving without supervision and with one passenger excluding my immediate family. I make sure my N sign is displayed while driving and that no drugs or alcohol is in my blood.
- After being a novice driver for 24 consecutive months without any driving prohibition I took my class 5 road test and passed. I now have a full license
