- Santiago is a young Shepard that's attached to his dream, and is on his a way to Al Andalusia to reunite with a merchant's daughter whom he fell in love with in the past year; however, he's disturbed by his repeated dream.

- Here, Santiago tried interpreting his dream through a Gypsy woman, the woman told him if he gets to the Egyptian pyramids, he'll find a treasure which she wants to take a part of. Santiago is wary, suspicious and cautious of the woman because he was taught to be afraid of gypsies.

- Can I please work for you? I can clean and polish your crystals .
- Okay, only if you do good job and not disturb me.
- The boy met a king on his was to the Merchant's daughter, and the king anonymously knew of Santiago's treasure, and kept pushing and convincing him that he should follow his dream and introduced to him the concept of omens. The old king also gave Santiago Umim and Thummim which will help him in times where he can't decide what to do.
- Tangier
- Over the past year I've collected enough money to get me to the great pyramids and discover the treasure along with my destiny.

- Santiago arrives in Tangier, Morocco and meets a boy and takes him as a friend. Later, the boy steals Santiago's money and is no where to be found. Santiago is at despair and already feels as if he should give up
- Why did I follow my stupid dream. I want my sheep back!
- Santiago stumbles upon a crystal shop and ask for available work where he can dust and clean for the crystal merchant. As time went by Santiago began suggesting ways to lure more customers into the shop, and Santiago learned that no everyone wants to achieve his dream, some just want to keep dreaming about their dreams that they can have an ongoing motivation in your life.
- After one year of hard work with at the crystal merchant, Santiago decided that he has enough money to go back home and buy another flock of sheep and return to being a Shepard; however, his future decisions are interrupted when he remembers why he even started this journey and the old king's words about how the world will help you achieve you dream if you really want it. Therefore, Santiago decided to leave the crystal shop, go to caravan and get back on track to his journey to Egypt!
