I won because I don't get overly confident and cocky. It's also because I know a lot about speed, acceleration, and velocity.
I should have payed more attention in science class
When I hit the ball over to your side over the net, that is an example of speed. It's an example of it because it moved a certain distance in a certain amount of time. Basically, speed is the distance an object or anything travels in a certain amount of time.

that would be considered velocity. This is an example of that because I aimed the ball towards the left side of your court, and it also has a speed to it. That is towards the east side of the school, if we were to put it in directional terms. Velocity is basically speed but in a certain direction.

When we hit the tennis ball back and forth, that is an example of acceleration because the ball changed direction and speed as we we hit it to the each other. Acceleration is the change in speed and direction of an object or person. Also, I don't think that's an option haha! I guess I'm the best now!
