- Hello I'm john And I'll be teaching you about the cell cycle. This is the reproduction cycle of cells within the cycle?
- I'll start with the pro-phase. This is the first stage of the cell cycle in which DNA is being replicated for the new daughter cell. during this process the cell loses its nucleus.(how does it replicate this DNA)
- The next phase in the cell cycle is the meta-phase. This phase is where the chromosomes stand up through a straight line, using spindle fibers to separate DNA
- The cell starting to slit apart! This cycle is called the Ana-phase.This is the phase in which DNA is ripped apart through spindle fibers and centrioles)
- The cell is actually splitting in half?. This phase is called the Telophase. This is the phase in which both cells have full sets of DNA are protected through a cell membrane
- here are some extra tips, If the cell cycle doesn't function well, It could potentially lead to death or even cancer.Some checkpoints cells use are G1 and G2 points
- This is the final phase known as cytokineses/or when 2 cells are successfully split apart and the cycle restarts.
