- Well,its official I am starting year 7,in a new school,new town...and yeah,Im pretty much terrified.
- I can smell something amazing from the kitchen...its dad he's been up making pancakes for the first day of school.
- I can see my little brother and sister at the table eating the delicious smelling breakfast.
- Young Emily and Sophie!
- Oh,mornin' kiddo!
- Before we start this story I should probably tell you a bit about my family life,and my life.My name is Emily Walker,I'm 11 years old and starting year 7.I share a room with my little sister Sophie who's 5, phoenix,my little brother is 4 and a baby brother called Cole. My mum and dad are a little embarrasing but I love them to bits.
- For 6 whole years I was homeschooled back in my hometown,Oamaru but now dad got a job in Auckland so we have all moved up there and my parents wanted me to get ''socialised.''I never had any problems with learning so I'm sure I'll be fine.
- Anyway,back to the story,I go to sit down and have some breakfast,only I don't feel hungry.Sophie is already at school so I eat breakfast with Phoenix.
- My tummy is turning as we leave the house. We are first taking Phoenix to Kindergarten,baby is in the pram. Crying. Again.
- Come on guys!
- When we get to the Kindergarten,Phoenix runs off and sprints around the playground already making friends with random kids in minutes.I wish big school was that easy.
- Mum drops me off at the bus stop,and when the bus arrives my heart drops to my feet it is full of kids.
- I get on the bus and don't say a word.
- When we arrive at school IT IS HUGE. I think it might be the biggest building I have ever seen. And there are teens,kids and parents everywhere
- Before I know it the bell rings,and its time for 1st period. ENGLISH. I do not speak or raise my hand. I feel so nervous that even if I did try talking I wouldn't be able to.

- I next I have PE. I like PE and sports but not THIS PE and sports. Its too crowded and busy.
- I have lunch and math's and before I know it I'm back on the bus home. I didn't say a word at school.
