Unauthorised users can gain access to your computer by you clicking on suspicious links - this is common through emails
Sam Donaldson
Phishing is a type of Social engineering attack, often used to steal our user/company data, including login credentials and credit card details
It occurs when an unsuspecting user (such as yourself Sam) is duped into opening a link, commonly through emails or texts.
The link is malicious, which may lead to the installation of malware on your computer, the freezing of your system for a ransomware attack or the theft of your sensitive information
For your Esports page Sam, the attacker may log into your account, and cause Chaos!
They may steal your personal information or credit card details, passwords for your bank accounts or other websites, post illegal material, or de-face your entire website – to name only a few things

Dear Sam and the Apex team,
Due to the current status of your Esports Website, and the controversy surrounding it at the minute, we have made the decision to blacklist Apex Gaming from any future tournaments, for the forseeable future.
Regards,
EsportsNZ
All of this could lead to reputational and/or financial loss for you and your Esports team – this may meanno more tournaments!
Jeez thanks Miss, we really had no idea!
No worries boys! The school really should be doing more of these intial digital security awareness programmes...
