- You and your wife are banished from this kingdom.
- Can I please have food and a place to rest?
- Prince Rama fell in love with a beautiful princess named Sita. They both got married.
- Rama was the heir to the throne, but his stepmother asked for her son to be king and for Rama and Sita to be sent to the forest for 14 years. Unfortunately, the king had promised his wife that she could have anything she wanted. He sadly had to banish his son to the forest.
- During their time in the forest, Sita spotted a beautiful deer and asked Rama to catch it for her. A Holy man then approached Sita asking her for food and shelter.
- The Holy man turned out to be the 10 headed demon, Ravana. He has kidnapped Sita and taken her to his castle on a remote island.
- When Rama came to know that his wife has been captured by Ravana, he set out to rescue her. He defeated the demon and saved Sita.
- A woman lit a lamp to help guide Rama and Sita. Other villagers decided to do the same and started lighting candles. The whole kingdom was lit up and Rama and Sita made it back to the castle after 14 years. Rama was then crowned king and Sita crowned queen.
