- how are we ever going to make it through all this.
- The people of america thought that they were so much better than everyone and believed in gods destiny for them so they had a plan for everything assuming this was gods plan for them and followed almost everything thinking it was there duty
- Slave demand
- I need more slaves to run my plantation
- This event is about Southern Farmers having an increased demand with the invention of new technology such as the cotton gin and not having enough land or slaves to keep up with the demand.
- Land Settlement
- With the cotton gin we can now use up all thi land for cotton
- The Oregon trail was a trail that many people died on there were thousands who got to the westward expansion but had to go through extreme things to get there they had to go through mountains and other things aswell for the trouble.
- Development and Progress
- The increased land the farmers had as well as the demand for crops increased the demand for slaves which had a 70 percent increase in slaves during that time.
- Farmers expanded their land west and with recent inventions such as the cotton gin it allowed them to create cotton much more efficiently which was what most of the Southern economy depended on.
- Farming expansion as well as the California gold rush brought over millions of people for settlement in the West which developed a whole economy in the West which was aided in increased farming because of modern inventions like the cotton gin which helped their devolopment.
