- Today we will discuss about cells and the people who discover it.
- ROBERT HOOK
- The first person is Robert Hook. He discovered a thin slice cork under the microscope and the first to visualize a microorganism. Hooked named these compartment cells.
- The second is Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek. A dutch inventor, he discovered free cells and observed the nucleus within some rd blood cells.
- ANTONIE VAN LEEUWENHOEK
- A German botanist he stated that all plants are composed of cell.
- MATTHIAS SCHLEIDEN
- THEODORE SCHWANN AND RUDOLF VIRCHOW
- Rudolf Virchow , theorized that all living cells from pre-existing living cells.
- Theodore Schwann, a German zoologist, concluded that all animals are composed of cells.
- They are the contributors to the cell theory.
