- When Zeus grew tired of mount Olympus, he would wander among the nymphs. Hera was jealous came to see what he was doing. Every time echo would be there, talking on and on.

- "from this day on, you shall be able only to repeat what other people say—and never speak unless someone else speaks first.”
- Finally Hera realized that Zues had sent echo to detain her so he could go do other things. Then, she cursed echo.
- echo had become used to the curse but then a new problem arose. There was a beautiful youth call narcissus, and when she saw him her lonely heart filled with love.
- I wish I could express my love to you

- One day , Narcissus wandered farther up the mountain than usual, and only echo followed him. He realized he was lost .

- Echo loved Narcissus but Narcissus only loved himself. Echo begged to be killed and Aphrodite the goddess of love, gave her her wish quietly and painlessly Echo pined away and died

- narcissus who was very thirsty food a small pool and leaning over to drink. however he saw himself in the pool and fell in love with himself. he eventually pined away just like echo .
