The colonists started trading and claiming land in the Ohio River Valley.
Great Britain and America were being greedy and claiming land on the Ohio River Valley, and France felt that it belonged to them.
The War was originally fought on American soil, but it would later spread to Europe and become knownas the Seven Years War.
Eventually the competition between both powers ,over who should own the land, got so bad that in the mid-1700s they fought against each other in "The French and Indian War.
