- This is Mr. Jones, 2nd and 3rd burns 20% TBSA. He's going tomorrow morning for split-thickness, so NPO after midnight, and complete the pre-op checklist. Also, he has a foley and rectal tube. He's intubated at 40%, 8 PEEP and 450 tidal volume. Precedex and Fentanyl drips also.
- My name is Kristy, I'll be your nurse tonight. Stacy and I will be doing bedside report for our shift handoff.
- AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
- It.Is. Going.To.Be. A.Great.Shift...
- Man, that was a rough night. Two more nights to go.
- And I need to work on my paper and discussion board when I get up.
- I need to clean up the house and prep the living room to paint.
- I need to get groceries. Milk and eggs only don't cut it for the five of us!
- New fridge order, now the washer goes out...
- Sick kids. Flea meds to order for dog and cats. Routine meds to reorder for family...
- I still have education classes for work transition...
- Christmas shopping to do...
- This is such a struggle. I can't seem to clear my head enough to work...
