- This is the area of the sun where it photons can take thousands to millions of years to transfer energy created in fusion

- The convection zone is the final zone the Proton passes through. The temperature difference between the surface and inside creates large bubbles. This is the least dense part of the sun

- Corona
- The corona is a giant ring around the sun. The corona consists of millions of protons all joining together, creating a white flame effect.
- Convection zone
- It takes about 8 minutes for a photon to travel through the solar system to reach Earth
- Since this proton is visible light, it entered the atmosphere and scattered across the earths surface. Non visible wavelengths get reflected away from the atmosphere
