- THE CASK OF AMONTILLADO
- When the narrator introduce the two main character which is Montressor and Fortunato. Montressor is the main character while Fortunatois also another main character which somehow got offended way back then in Montressor's way of talking and repeatedly insulted him so he planned of revenge.
- EXPOSITION
- One evening during the carnival time, Montressor is planning to kill Fortunato and decided to lure him at the catacombs beneath his home without getting caught by no one.
- RISING ACTION
- Montressor suddenly push Fortunato at the catacombs wall and secures him to the at the corner that cause Fortunato to beg to his life. Montressor leave his in chained prisoner of no chance to escape.
- CLIMAX
- Fortunato stops screaming and Montressor only hears the jingling of bell on his costume when he throws his torch into the catacombs. Montressor also finishing sealing the wall he is making in front of Fortunato so no one finds him.
- FALLING ACTION
- The resolution occurs when Montressor finishes telling the story of the murder of Fortunato has remained within the bricked in the catacombs undisturbed for the past 50 years.
- RESOLUTION
