- Thanks to capitalism here in America, we are very fortunate and have money for food,water and other important things.

- Sadly, in some countries, kids can't afford food or water.

- This is because after World War 2, many European countries were left in shambles, causing many people to lose their jobs.

- A solution to this? The Marshall Plan!
- The Marshall Plan is where the US will donate money to these war-stricken European countries in order to help them, gain allies, and stop communism!
- After WW1, countries like Germany, Italy, etc were left in poverty and with this came the rise of communism and dictatorship. We must not let history repeat itself!

- Here is how the Marshall Plan would work. It would send money to many European countries, including the ones pictured below. When the countries receive their money, less people would be poor which will stop the rise of communism. Also, the US benefits from the plan because we will gain and strengthen allies!
