- A few years later...

- What is that awful noise?!
- Fiends!!!
- ... a terrible place where people drink dirt and eat rock. Darkness is spread everywhere...
- Back home...
- Gilgamesh starts a journey to find everlasting life...
- He first arrives at Mashu.

- Gilgamesh rides over the waters of death.
- He is then told a story about the flood that even frightened the gods.
