  • germany has a parliamentry democracy.Germany has a Parliamentary Democracy.German citizens ages 18 and older vote to electmembers of the legislature, called Parliament, whosejob it is to make the laws.The Parliament is bicameral,meaning it is made up of two parts: the Bundestagand the Bundesrat.The Chancellor is the chief executive of the Germangovernment. The Chancellor is similar to the prime minister of the UnitedKingdom, simply with a different title.
  • The United Kingdom government is a Parliamentary Democracy . Thismeans that citizens 18 years and older elect members of the legislature,called Parliament. After the election, the leader of the political party withthe most members is selected to become the chief executive of theUnited Kingdom. This person is called the Prime Minister. The U.K. Parliament is bicameral, meaning that it has two parts. Thepurpose of a bicameral legislature is that two groups of lawmakers must approve thelaw before it is passed.
  • Russia’s system of government is a Presidential Democracy. The Presidentis directly elected by the people.The Federal Assembly is Russia’s legislative branch; they make the laws for thecountry. The Federal Assembly is bicameral, or divided into two parts: the FederationCouncil and the State Duma.The President runs the country and is theleader of the military. The President of Russia has more power than mostcountry’s chief executives, for example they can issue orders and passdecrees without the approval of the legislature.
