- It was December 24, 2018, when my mom and I arrived in New York City. We were there to celebrate Christmas with my family.
- BOOM
- BAAR-ROOM
- Yes sweetie, we need to save money.
- Mommy, do we have to stay with my cousins?
- When we arrived at my aunt's house, we said our greetings and were leaded to our room. The next morning I was going to see my cousins and we were heading to Times Square for gifting shopping.
- Well, I hope this room is enough for the both of you. And if you need anything, please just tell me!
- Yeah, no problem... I'll be heading out now. Since, Katheryn looks like she's about to pass out.
- Night!
- Aggh.. can I just go to sleep already. Why can't my aunt just leave...?
- Yes, thank you so much for letting us stay over for Christmas.
- Ok, good night!
- In the morning, I ate Christmas breakfast with my cousins and we head straight to Times Square. We entered a candy store because my aunt wanted to buy something from there.
- At the time I didn't know my aunt was to trying to be nice to me. Since I could remember she's always been a little rude towards me, so that's what I thought.
- Hey guys, welcome to Tony's candy store!
- *Whisper* Hey, umm... what candy gift do you recommend for my niece over there?
- Man, do I really have to here?
- I would have never thought that my aunt was trying to be nice to me. I always thought she liked my brother more than me. I was my fault for always being a little rude towards her and judging her. I should have never judged a book by it's cover.
- What's going on...?
- Hey, since I know you didn't get a present for Christmas. I thought I'll give you your favorite chocolates.
- Is this lady going to pay?
- *cries* Thank you so much!
- Aww... how nice!
