- "What do they want? This is our territory. What are Socs doing this far east?"
- "I don't know. But I bet they're looking for us. We picked up their girls."
- "You're outa your territory." "You'd better watch it."
- "Hey, whatta ya know?" "Here's the little greasers that picked up our girls. Hey greasers."
- "You know what a greaser is?" White trash with long hair."
- "You know what a Soc is?' "White trash with mustangs and madra."
- The Blue mustang was circling around the park. As Ponyboy and Ponyboy discuss about the Socs blue mustang going around, they realize why the Socs could be looking for them.
- "Give him a bath."
- Bob and Randy found Johnny and Pony, as they get upset for them seeing their girls. Johnny tells Randy and Bob that they better leave before something bad happens since they aren't in their normal territory.
- "I killed him, I killed that boy."
- "You really killed him, huh, Johnny?"
- The boys started to get angry towards each other -saying some really rude things. It got to the point that Bob thought it was time to teach Ponyboy a lesson.
- "We gotta get outa here. Get somewhere. Run away. The police'll be here soon."
- Out of nowhere, the Socs decide to give Ponyboy a "bath" - Ponyboy tries to run away but he can't get away from the Socs. Suddenly he realizes he is drowning - until something else happens.
- Ponyboy is shocked by the decision Johnny has made, Bob the Soc has been killed by Johnny - a greaser. Ponyboy never knew Johnny had the guts to ever do such a thing. He's starting to freak out and regret what type of decision he made.
- After the death of Bob, the Soc - Ponyboy and johnny made the decision to go and hide.They didn't want to get caught by the fuzz(the police) Ponyboy really wanted to run somewhere, get a gun, money - and hide until they were no longer wanted for the death of Bob.
