- The genetic variation of butterflies are mainly based by the color of their scales, their size and shape too.
- Camouflage is one of the ways butterflies show adaptation to avoid their predators.
- Having the same or similar colors of their surroundings avoids predators to attack.

- The name of the system is Batesian mimicry. A predator will avoid the mimic thinking that they encountered a poisonous butterfly, instead of a non-poisonous butterfly.
