- A Philistine warrior stepped out of a cave. fee five fo Fum, which is Isralite will fight me if you win we will be your slaves if i win we will be your slaves. Goliath was 10ft and his armour was heavy. he had a big sword.

- Jesse, David's father told David to go and see how his brothers were doing in the war, he would also go and bring them food and gifts. so David left the herd with some one and left to go to his brothers.
- l Samuel 17:42-50
- David left his baggage with the baggage man and ran toward the battle line and went to greet his brothers. While he was talking to them, the champion, whose name was Goliath, the Philistine of Gath, stepped forward from the Philistine ranks and spoke the same words as before; and David heard him. When the men of Israel saw the man, they fled in terror. And the men of Israel were saying [among themselves], “Do you see that man coming out? He comes out to defy Israel! The man who kills him will be rewarded by the king with great riches; he will also give him his daughter in marriage and grant . to his father’s house in Israel. David then said im going to kill the beast.
- David went to King Saul, and told him he would like to fight the giant. Saul told David that he was to young. but David respond that he had killed bears and lions to save his flock. David prayed to God and then Saul let him go and fight the Giant.
- David went up to the Philistine line to challenge the beast. David had no sword while the giant did. with Davids sling shot and rock he was able to kill the beast with one shot. he struck Goliath in the forehead and killed him.
