- Good morning everyone and I am Bhanu Charan.I am here to show Trigonometry comic strip!

- Boards are measured by their diagonal distance. We can find their width using trigonometry ratios.
- 3 METERS
- The diagonal (hypotenuse) is 3m long. The angle given is 30 degrees. Therefore, to find the width, we do cos (30*) = 3m divided by base to find the base is 1.5m long!

- Mr. Ramesh is an engineer. He wants to find the height of this locomotive using its shadow.
- The angle of elevation is 60 degrees, the shadow (adjacent side) is 2m and he wants to know the height (opposite side)To find the height, he takes tan(60) and multiples it by 2. He finds out the locomotive is 2√3m!

- I have been painting my house. I had to figure out a safe angle for my ladder to make with the floor when I lean it up against the wall.
- A safe ladder makes a 76 degree angle with the floor. Is Mr. Rakesh's ladder safe?

- We must use inverse trig to find angle measures. Since we have the opposite (8 feet) and adjacent (2 feet) sides, we use tangent.So tan^-1 (8/2) = 76 degreesTHANK YOU
