satata is born and a sage predicts his future. the sage says that he will ether be a priest or a king, and his dad wants him to be a king.
enlightenment
His dad wanted him to be a king so much that he would not let satata leave his home because he doesn't want him seeing the horrors of the world
middle path
eventually he gets out of his home and finds sickness, age, and death, and that the inevitable fate of humans is death
death
after seeing the horrors of the world he decides to meditate under a tree to gain enlightenment
once gaining enlightenment he learned about the middle path. the middle path is a path were you aren't being poor but not rich. he used this knowledge to teach others about the middle path
buddha died at age 80 after teaching his students so the could share his teaching which they did
