- In the past all Islam women were required to wear the hijab to not attract attention. Now days women from Islam are not required to wear the hijab but there are still Muslim women who still decide to wear the hijab. The Muslim women who decided to still wear the hijab wear it to show that they are following their tradition from the past. The Muslim women who don't wear the hijab any more is because they care get judged or attract attenition.
- Arab merchant they used Caravans to transport goods across the desert. Islam Traders would prefer to travel in caravans rather than alone to be safe against rebels. When they traveled in caravans they stopped to rest in an Oasis. When people in caravans would stop at an Oasis and set up tents to trade some of their goods like silk, spises, and gems.
- The Salat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Salat is meaning "prayer" in Islam. People of Islam do the Salat five times a day at dawn, noon, mid afternoon, sunset, and around midnight. Before a muslim do the Salat they have to wash their hands and feet. Every time a Muslim prays they have to make sure their are facing towards Mecca.
