- These trenches are muddy and reek of the worse smell my nostrills have ever enhaled!
- I've been here for months kid, trust me when I say this won't be even close to the worst thing you'll expereince.
- This kid won't survive 1 week here!
- Whatever, I'm going to the corner of the trench.
- I wouldn't do that, you're walking straight into-
- AHHHHHHH!THERE'S NOTHING BUT FECES AND URINE HERE!
- The trenches were overrun with rats and lice, they were full of disease too!
- I would go over there but I can barely walk. My feet are swelled up black due to the trench's foot I've developed over time.
- An artillery shell just landed near our section of the trench, my ears hurt!
- The next shell might hit us if we're unlucky. Or worse, we could dvelop shellshock.
- Just look at Private Adams over there, he hasn't spoken in days.
